Pope patterns + Madejasur yarns = fun, warm and stylish winter

It's Rockaria time and Chameleon time, ideal projects for the cold months. Both are Pope Vergara patterns, both are wonderful and for both we prepared dream kits. The only thing you need to do is choose which one you like best. And if you don't like any of them? Tell us! At Madejasur you can always modify the colors as you wish and make the match perfect for you.

Speaking of these projects, today we want to share a little more of the work we do with a luxury partner like Pope. The love for beautiful things is, in addition to knitting, something that unites us for several years. That's why we like working as a team, developing shades for their creations and carefully choosing those skeins that combine perfectly with their patterns. And that's what happens to us every time we put together a kit: nothing is left to chance. We just love to give it our all!

“First of all, you should know that I don’t knit perfectly. I just knit a lot” is a very typical phrase of hers. She is that simple. But very dynamic: she manages to divide her time between family, design, knitting, the launch of her own website in the next few days (that’s news, isn’t it?) and a capsule collection for a well-known store, with four garments that will bear her signature, as well as collaborating with different premium yarn stores.

In that vein, it's always a pleasure to work together. For Rockaria, a dream project, we dyed exactly the shades that Pope had in mind and with which she knitted the original version that we all know. We love the exclusive result from Madejasur! It's a very original sweater, with a simple but challenging structure, due to the brioche stitch, which also makes it very warm. And if you don't know brioche, it allows you to learn the technique while you go through "its union between opera and rock, which together achieve harmony," as its author describes it.

As for Chameleon, also full of winter, it is a really simple design to make, which achieves sophistication from the assembly of colors and textures. Special mention for the sleeves, which steal all the attention. Perhaps the only more complex element here are the short rows, that's how friendly the development of this pattern is. In both projects, the most important thing is the desire and having a good time, in the words of Pope. So if you haven't dared to try one yet, just visit Raverly or her new website.

And we love making them happy so much that we spend many hours preparing colour combinations that make their lives easier. We try out loads of shades and textures, we split skeins in half to minimise the excess material and we make our kits ideal for both Rockaria and Camaleón. We try to ensure that each combination has a fair price but, as always, our proven quality. We are convinced that with each skein we transmit all that love, because the kits fly away! And now we have some in different sizes, based on Merino SW, Merino Sock SW and our delicious Kid Mohair Silk, all on the website.
